AC Milan 23/24 Away Kit

For 2023/24, AC Milan followed tradition by going with a predominantly white colourway for their Puma change shirt. It had a bit of a greyish tone thanks to the all-over pattern inspired by the designs usually seen in the works of the city’s fashion houses. The grey accent also made its way to the stakeholder logos and team crest. On the left side of the wearer is a vertical band with a red and black split, representing the official colours of the club. An ‘AC MILAN’ branding the said colours signed off at the back below the collar. The white away kit was introduced by club in 1910 and was dubbed as ‘the Lucky One’ due to its successful record in six European finals.

2022/23 AC Milan Away Shirt

AC Milan Away 2022/23 KitFor the 2022/23 season, Milan reverted to white after applying a tinge of gold to the 2021/22 away. Red and black were the accent colours seen mainly as the half-and-half thin detailing on the sleeve cuffs, collar, and the horizontal pinstripes on the torso. A minimalist interpretation of the design of the 1984/85 shirt, the striping graphic did not extend fully to side-to-side, deviating from the retro kit’s hooped formation. Each stripe represented one of the club’s European titles, from its first time in 1963 in London’s Wembley to the most recent 2007 UCL Finals win in Athens. Puma ended the design with red for the logos and original colours for the crest, ensuring the corporate liveries subscribe to the chosen colour theme.

2021/22 AC Milan Away Shirt

AC Milan Away 2021/22 KitAC Milan’s Puma away shirt for 2021/22 was part of the ‘From Milan to the World’ charitable initiative of Fondazione Milan. The golden-based shirt featured a subtle all-over pattern inspired by the six cities involved in the organisation’s September 2021 event. Like other Puma shirts this season, the mesh panel on the backside just below the round neckline applied bordered seams, with the red colour and width profile matching that of the sleeve cuffs.

2020/21 AC Milan Away Shirt

AC Milan Away 2020/21 KitIbrahimovich and company wore predominantly white away shirts in the 2020/2021 season. But aside from just being white, the away kit still reflected Puma’s ‘Crafted from Culture’ concept as the shirt displayed a wavy micro rectangled pattern on the entire front side to reflect the unique architecture of the MUDEC Museum of Cultures in Milan. The logos and brandings were made visible by their black colour (the Milan crest comes in official colours), and the shirt was partnered with white shorts and socks.

AC Milan Away Kits

AC Milan’s away kits have predominantly been white or black. Under current manufacturer Puma the away shirt alternated between the two. The away shirt is used in the Serie A, Cup and UEFA Champions League matches.

Black or white is very commonly seen in world football clubs due to its difference to home shirt colours such as red or blue.
