Arsenal 24/25 Away Kit

adidas partnered with the Labrum brand to produce the 2024/25 Arsenal away kit. The shirt was mostly black and had African-themed trims in white and black around the corner edges of the body panel. What was also eye-catching was the red and green striping trims on the shoulders and collar. Even the adidas performance logo and the Gunners’ canon symbol contributed to the secondary colour detailing. The said accents paid tribute to former Arsenal players David Rocastle and Ian Wright.

Arsenal Away 2023/24 KitIn 2023/24, the Gunners pulled their traditional yellow change shirt away from its standard shading and into a neon-like, greenish tone. But more than that, what captured the attention of viewers was the repeating curvy lines inspired by the map of Islington. The design was meant to take into essence the journey of Arsenal fans out of their home borough to support their club in their away matches. Popping sky blue trims added the adidas kit’s finishing touches via the trims on the sleeve cuffs, lateral seam  and collar as well as the monochromatic logos.

2022/23 Arsenal Away Shirt

Arsenal Away 2022/23 KitFor the first time, adidas gave Arsenal a black shirt for the club’s 2022/23 away jersey. Metallic bronze logos and brandings added glimmer to the stealthy backdrop, with the grey shoulder stripes flanking the round collar. A deeper shade of grey interacted with the base colour to form a unique, all-over 3D geometric graphic that abstractly connected the intials ‘A,F, and C’, inspired by the Arsenal lettering fans pass on their way to Emirates Stadium.

2021/22 Arsenal Away Shirt

Arsenal Away 2021/22 KitInspired by the FA Cup-winning 1971 and the 1989 yellow alternate kits, Arsenal participated in their 2021/22 away games with a jersey of the same colour, specifically in the shade of the Pear Citrine used on AC Milan’s 2014/15 third. Arsenal’s 2021/22 away shirt boasted navy applications for the simple crew neck collar, adidas shoulder stripes, front logos, and sleeve cuffs with scarlet red pipings. Aside from the base colour, the influence of the iconic retro kits on the said outfit also showed in the cannon crest that took the place of the club badge.

2020/21 Arsenal Away Shirt

Arsenal Away 2020/21 KitArsenal’s away kit for the 2020/21 season featured, for the first time in 10 years, a predominantly white colour base. Technically called ‘cloud white’, the kit’s shade was actually light grey that appeared as white on the pitch when watching from the stands. The ‘cloud white’ base made a perfect backdrop for the unique maroon prints all over the kit to resemble the Marble Halls at Highbury. Concluding the look of this white jersey were the black applications on the front side logos along with the template adidas shoulder stripes.

Arsenal Away Kits

The away shirt was usually white in the early days although the majority of the 70s and 80s saw Arsenal wearing yellow on the road. The yellow has remained during the last twenty years although the club has created various blue away designs in this period. One of the latest away shirts included a hooped purple design.

Notable away shirts include the 1971 yellow away shirt in which they won the double and the 1950 FA Final Cup yellow shirt. Other notable shirts include the 1989 Championship shirt and the 1977-78 away shirt. In 2020/21, Arsenal opted for white with red detailings as a tribute to the iconic marble halls of the Highbury stadium.
