In Arsenal's history third kits have been rarely used due to their high differences in home and away kits. Third kits first featured in the 90s and 00s. Common third kits used by the club were either yellow or blue. In recent seasons blue has been a popular design by Nike. 2014

The Arsenal 2014-15 reveals the most creative design of the 14-15 collection featuring a dark and light blue diagonal sash design. This new design is similar to Arsenal’s away kit in the 2011-12 season. The kit template is the same used by Italy at the 2014 World Cup boasting a traditional styled collar. The third shirt is topped off with lime green piping.
