AJ Auxerre are French football club who currently plays in Ligue 2 after they were relegated in the 2011-12 Ligue 1 season. The club wear an all white home kit with blue trim and their away shirt usually sees a blue colour scheme. The club's notable players include Bacary Sagna, Djibril Cisse, Eric Cantona, Jean-Alain Boumsong, Philippe Mexes and Basile Boli.





Association de la Jeunesse Auxerroise, or AJ Auxerre as most people know them are a French football team, founded in 1905. Auxerre play their home games in the 22,000 all seater Stade l'Abbe-Deschamps, Route de Vaux, Auxerre in Burgundy, France. Parterre’s ground is a wonderful setting on the banks of the river Yonne.

The club colours have been worn to French honours including the Ligue 1 Champions and French Cup 4 times. Some well known names from the game have pulled on the Auxerre strip such as Laurent Blanc, Eric Cantona and Djibril Cisse to name but a few.

The nation won their first and only Ligue 1 title in the 1995-96 season and they also have several Coupe de France titles to their name.
