Club Atletico Boca Juniors are one of the best Argentine football clubs in the country where they have won a total of 34 league titles which is two behind bitter rivals River Plate. The original jersey colour was a white shirt with thin black vertical stripes, being then replaced by a light blue shirt and then another striped jersey before adopting the definitive blue and gold. The blue and gold was inspired by chance where the club decided to select the colours of the kit by first ship that sailed into La Boca which was the 'Drottning Sophia', a Swedish vessel hence the colours blue and gold were applied.
