Brentford play their home games in a kit of red and white striped shirts with black shorts and socks. The away strip is all black. The club has never won major honours but some notable players have pulled on the red and white Brentford shirt including Tommy Lawton who joined as player/manager in 1952 as he was nearing the end of his career and Jimmy Hill, for so long the face of football on TV who played for the club from 1949 to 1953.

Brentford Football Club nicknamed the Bees were formed in 1889 in the London suburb of Brentford. The Bees play their homes games in the 12,760 capacity Griffin Park in London. The ground has been their home since 1904 although there are plans to relocate in the future.

Their shirts are manufactured by Puma who have produced their shirts for over five seasons and sponsored by Founded in 1889, the club's highest honour was the 1934-35 Football League Second Division League champions and being London based they currently play heated rivalries against Fulham and Queens Park Rangers.
