Bristol Rovers Home 2022/23 KitWith the theme of ‘Never Forget Your Routes,’ Bristol Rovers’ 2022/23 Macron home shirt sported a familiar look while incorporating the imprint of the host city, with the ‘routes’ possibly a pun for ‘roots.’ The traditional quarter design of blue and white complemented the alternating pattern of the said colours in other aspects of the shirt: sleeves, cuffs, and collar neckline. Moreover, a subtle outline of the map of Bristol provided an understated design to the bespoke visuals.

Bristol Rovers Home 2021/22 KitBristol Rovers’ 2021/22 Macron home shirt took inspiration from the ’99/00 kit, applying a blue and white quarter design punctuated by a blue chest band. The chest design had a black on white striping border on the top and the bottom. A tricoloured striping of the same colours adorned the lower edge of the polo collar. Black panels ran along the shoulders up to the outer side of the sleeves to highlight the white Macron hero logos. Relatively broad white sleeve cuffs completed the look of the jersey.

Nicknamed The Pirates thanks to the maritime history of Bristol, they wear blue and white quartered shirts, white shorts and blue socks. A couple of top players who have pulled on the Rovers shirt are Gary Mabbutt who started his career at the club and Bobby Zamora who joined from West Ham’s youth ranks briefly.
