Yohan Cabaye is French midfielder who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and previously Newcastle United. He began his professional career in 2004 with Lille. In his time at the club he became a key player in the centre of midfield. He helped the club to win the 2010-11 league and cup title. He played eight years at the club playing 191 league matches scoring 31 goals.
In June 2001 Cabaye signed for Newcastle United. He made his league debut in a 0-0 draw with Arsenal. He scored his first goal for the club against Wigan Athletic. He was a pivotal player in the 2011-12 season for the club as he helped the side to reach 5th place and to gain a UEFA Europa League spot.
Cabaye has played for France U-16, U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 youth sides before making his senior debut in 2010 in a match against Norway. He played in the UEFA EURO 2012 with France. Cabaye has won the 2005 U-19 UEFA European Championship. Cabaye has great shot power and passing skills making him one of the best central midfielders in the world today.
