In July 2010 Cavani signed a five year deal with Napoli for 17 million euros and in his three seasons at the club he netted over 30 goals in each which made him one of the hottest forwards in world football. Cavani helped the club to finish second place in the 2012-13 Serie A behind Juventus and he also helped the club to win the 2011-12 Coppa Italia. His prolific form meant several big names European clubs were in for his signature and he eventually signed for French champions Paris Saint-Germain in July 2013 for a staggering 64 million euros.
At international level Cavani made his Uruguay debut in 2008 where he netted his first goal for his nation against Colombia in February 2008. In recent seasons Cavani formed a unique attacking three with Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez.
