Nacer Chadli is a Belgian footballer who plays for Belgium and English club Tottenham Hotspur. Having played for two Dutch clubs Apeldoorn and FC Twente Chadli's career took off while at FC Twente. The Belgian winger possesses great dribbling, flair and free kick abilities.
Born on the 2nd of August 1989 Chadli began his club career at AGOVV Apeldoorn where he was scouted at MVV's youth academy. He scored his first professional goal against FC Voldendam.
In the summer of 2010 Chadli signed a deal with reigning Eredivisie champions FC Twente. His first Eredivisie goal was the winning one against bitter rivals PSV Eindhoven. He made his European and Champions League debut in a 202 home draw against Internazionale on the 14th of September 2010. He scored his first Champions League away goal away at Tottenham Hotspur.
On the 21st of July Chadli signed for English club Tottenheam Hotspur for £7 million. He made his Spurs debut in a 5-2 friendly loss to AS Monaco on the third of August. He made his Premier League debut on the 18th of August 2013 against Crystal Palace in a 1-0 win. Chadli has represented both Morocco and Belgium at international level but he preferred to play for his country of birth Belgium.
