Chester City Football Club, founded in 1885 are from the City of Chester in Cheshire. Nicknamed the Blues after their home shirts, they play their home games in the 6,000 capacity Saunders Honda (Deva) Stadium, built in 1991 and was the first in the English leagues to comply with the recommendations following the Hillsborough disaster (Taylor report).

The club have had an array of kit suppliers in their history including Vandanel, Prostar, Nike, Vilma, Socca and many more. The club has had a long and arduous rivalry with Wrexham which is known as the Cross-border derby.
