Colorado Rapids are based in Colorado, USA and they wear red and white home shirts which are manufactured by German brand adidas. The club were founded in 1996 and they play their home games at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park which holds over 18,000 people.
Colorado play their home games in a soccer kit of blue and black vertical striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. The Rapids have been losing finalists in the 1997 MLS Cup and the 1999 US Open Cup, their current plans are to move to a new soccer only stadium in the town of Commerce City around 2007.
