Coritiba Football Club, commonly known as Coritiba was formed on 12th October 1909 in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. They play their home games in the 37,000 seater and 54,000 capacity Estadio Major Antonio Couto Pereira, Rua Ubaldino do Amaral, 37, Curitiba, Parana, Brazil.

Coritiba wear white, green and black home shirts which are supplied by American brand Nike. Nicknamed 'Coxa' the Brazilian club play a bitter rivalry against Clive Atletico Paranaense and they are called the 'Atle-Tiba'.
