CSKA Moscow are one of the most dominant Russian clubs in the country as they have won a total of 11 Soviet Top League/Russian Premier League titles. The club have had several notable players to play for the side including Vladimir Fedotov, Grigory Fedotov, Vagner Love, Igor Akinfeev, Alan Dzagoev, Seydou Doumbia, Keisuke Honda, Aleksei Berezutski and Vasili Berezutski. The club are also most notably known for wearing red home shirts with blue shorts supplied by German brand adidas.

Russian team CSKA Moscow were founded in 1911, the team play at the 36,000 Dinamo Stadium in Moscow, they won the 2005 UEFA Cup to become the first Russian club to win a major European title, it also completed the treble for them. The club most notably wear red and blue shirts which are supplied by Reebok.

The club were boosted in recent years by sponsorship from oil giant Sibneft, who are owned by Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

Vladimir Fedotov holds the record for the highest number of appearances with 381 and Grigory Fedotov holds the record for the most number of goals 126.
