Cuba Home 2023 KitThe 2023 Cuba home shirt was made by Joma. It was mainly white with short navy sleeve cuffs and v-neckline collar. Otherwise a clean, no-frills jersey, it nonetheless contained a narrow band that span across the chest behind the traditional placements for the kit maker logo and team crest.

Cuba Away 2023 KitCuba’s 2023 alternate shirt was from Joma. It was navy and red, demarcated by a white strip across the chest and along the sleeves. Given the colours and the design elements, this particular Cuba alternate kit carried some semblance to the 2014 USA away shirt.

The red shirt of Cuba has only featured in the World Cup finals once in 1938 when they reached the quarter-finals but were then beaten 8-0 by Sweden. During the 2002 Gold Cup in Los Angeles, Cuba were embarrassed by the defection of two players Alberto Delgado and Rey Angel Martinez to the United States.

The Cuban national football team played their first international match on the 16th March 1930 a home fixture against Jamaica who they beat 3-1. Cuba do not have a great record on the world stage perhaps because the nation favours baseball and boxing.

The nation have had several managers in their past including Walter Benitez, Chandler Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez Triana, Reinhold Fanz, Armelio Luis, Miguel Company and William Bennett.
