Julian Draxler is a German footballer who plays for FC Schalke 04 and the Germany national football team. Being the fourth youngest Bundesliga player to debut ever Draxler is one of the most promising footballers in Germany and the world.
Linked with several big name clubs Draxler began his club career at his current club FC Schalke 04 in 2011. He is the second youngest Bundesliga player to start for a team after Nuri Sahin with Borussia Dortmund. He scored his first goal for Schalke 04 in a 3-2 win against FC Nurnberg in the DFB-Pokal and his first Bundesliga goal came against St. Pauli.
The German ace played for several Germany youth teams including the U-18, U-19 and U-21 sides before making his senior debut in May 2012 in their 5-3 loss to Switzerland replacing Lukas Podolski in the 62nd minute. His first international goal was scored in June 2013 in a friendly against United States in 4-3 win. Draxler looks to be regular for both Schalke and Germany in future years.
