RCD Espanyol are a Spanish football club who play their home games at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat in Barcelona which holds over 40,000 people. The club are bitter rivals with Barcelona and the club wear blue and white striped home shirts supplied by Puma. The club have won the Copa del Rey on four occasions and the Segunda Division on one occasion.
Espanyol first wore yellow shirts in 1900, then white shirts for 9 years, in 1910 the first blue and white shirt came out worn with black shorts, the colour of the blue has changed slightly over he years and the stripes have changed a little too.

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona is a Spanish La Liga side who currently play at the 55,926 capacity Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys. Though not as big as local rivals Barcelona the team are the sixth most successful side in Spanish football.
