2020 European Championship Shirts

Euro 2020 runs from 11th of June to the 11th of July 2021 and is hosted by 12 countries. As such, there are 12 venues for the matches, with London's Wembley Stadium hosting the final match. The tournament follows the precedent set by Euro 2016 in that 24 teams participates in one of Europe's most prestigious football competitions.

Aside from the historic nature of the venues, the 1-year postponement of the tournament due to COVID 19 adds another unique dimension to this Euro tournament edition. The contest also retains the 5-substitution rule to address the fatigue factor brought about by the congestion of football calendars.

The competition marks a momentous occassion to some of the participants, like being the first major tournament ever for North Macedonia and the return-tournament for Scotland after more than two decades out of top flight international competition. In 2021 it will be the first time the European Championships tournament has been played across the continent, with twelve cities from several countries initially set to serve as the official hosts of the event.
