Everton 23/24 Kits

Everton 23/24 Home Shirt

After almost a decade, Everton wore their blue home shirt in 2023/24 with an outfitted polo collar. The said collar construction was white and featured a blue, crisscrossing striping frame along the edge to give tribute to Archibald Leitch and the particular criss-cross steel present at the upper tier of Goodison Park. Showing the same look, the sleeve cuffs also contained the collar’s finish to give the Hummel-produced shirt an anchoring visual. Instead of the usual chevrons, Hummel had the shoulders inserted with a panel that had a chevron striping alternating in white and blue. A small white silhouette of the Everton Lock-Up at the back below the collar signed off the overall design.

Everton 23/24 Away Shirt

Inspired by the 1992/94 away kit, Everton’s 2023/24 Hummel shirt sported a coral base with navy vertical striping. But the latter was not applied with a solid fill. Instead, it showed a random, abstract pattern that was a distinct feature of the succeeding 1994/96 away kits, making the 2023/24 change shirt a combination of two classic away Everton outfits.

The raglan-sleeved jersey featured a tonal dazzle camo graphic on the front, while yellow and white accents appeared on the narrow sleeve cuffs and rear end of the collar. Everton Home 2020/21 KitThe Toffees’ 2020/21 home kit was the first Everton kit produced by the Danish sportswear giant Hummel. As an Everton shirt, it was predominantly blue and used white to accentuate the applications. Four chevrons appeared on each shoulder facing their respective directions to mark Hummel’s influence. A white stripe ran in the middle of the wide sleeve cuffs. Raglan cuts formed the shoulders and seamlessly connected to the henley neckline. The main highlight of the new home kit though was the chest area as it housed the tonal blue embossed diagonals inspired by the club’s iconic Z-cars anthem. These embossed diagonals were made even more visible due to the lightened shade on this part of the blue shirt.

Everton Away 2021/22 KitEverton wore a sash-designed Hummel shirt for the 2021/22 season. The red-orange sash in front was noticeable because of the clean look of the black base. Hummel’s trademark chevrons on the shoulders and sleeves used a tonal shade and subtly blended with the base colour. The overall visuals of the jersey commemorated the kit used by the Black Watch team of 1881/82 and the 140th anniversary of the club’s social programs for the community.

Men’s Everton Shirt

Known as ‘St. Domingo Football Club’ in 1878, Everton first wore home shirts that comprised of white and blue striped home shirts. The club went through a period of switching shirts to most colours of the rainbow including the ‘Black Watch’ shirt which was black with a red sash. Arrival at Goodison Park saw dark blue stripes, salmon pink, ruby and finally royal blue added which remains today.

The ‘Toffees’ is Everton’s nickname which originated very early in the club’s history. It derived from Ancient Everton Toffee House which was located within a ‘mint ‘s throw’ of the Queen’s Head Hotel in Village Street, where much of Everton’s early development as a football club occurred.

The Toffees’ shirts had been worn by many famous players such as Joe Royle, Neville Southall, Gary Lineker, Kevin Sheedy, Wayne Rooney and Peter Reid. Today, Everton is composed of players such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, James Rodriguez, and Jordan Pickford.

Everton were formed in 1878 and started life as St. Domingo FC, changing the name after one year to Everton. They were one of the founding members of the football league in 1888. Everton have a history of being a wealthy club from their early days, a fact that possibly helped to earn them the nickname of the Toffees. Everton play their home games at Goodison Park in Liverpool, right next door to their rivals Liverpool FC.

Neville Southall played for a total number of 751 games, making him the record-holder for most appearances for the club. Dixie Dean’s 386 goals put him on top of the team’s all time goal scoring list.
