Los Angeles Galaxy Home & Away Shirts 2013
More shirt releases from the MLS Jersey Week as we now bring you pictures of the new Los Angeles home and away shirts for the upcoming MLS season.
Home Shirt
The new home shirt is mainly white with a diagonal blue stripe which features a pattern of the quasar (a galactic nucleus).
“We’re staying with the blue theme and we’re really kind of focusing in on the quasar,” said adidas product manager Mike Walker about the design which also appears on the back neck tape. “We’ve got the embossed pattern of that quasar that kind of runs through their home primary on the sash, but now it’s embossed on the away up on the right shoulder and also on the left hem.”
Away Shirt
As for their away fixtures, LA Galaxy will be playing in navy blue shirts with yellow detail. The shirt also features a pattern of the quasar on the top right part of the chest.
The shirts also feature a gold star for the club’s fourth MLS Cup title success which was won last year.

Quality. Like the subtle differences in the home kit. Sure winner. Away good effort too.
If Adidas were to take over at West Ham that Home shirt would look great in claret and blue and away would match our dark blue away shirts.
Very nice. I like the 4 star arrangement LA have adopted this year with the gold star and the away is great. The embossed quasar pattern looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see it on the field where it will look even better! Another masterpiece.
Stars for every single trophy won is dumb, but the kits look great.
