The Gunners introduce their 2022/23 adidas away shirt, and as the kit can be seen on an actual match as early as Wed, July 20, when the team faces Orlando City as part of the club’s pre-season tour. To Arsenal, the away shirt ‘celebrates our passionate supporters in the ‘Little Islingtons’ in the United States and around the world.’ Deviating from the trendy collar of the adidas home shirts, the jersey instead puts the focus back on the overall design of the shirt even if the colourway is predominantly black.
It's a blackout.

It is the first time Arsenal had a black shirt from adidas. Metallic bronzo logos and brandings add glimmer to the stealthy backdrop, with the grey shoulder stripes flanking the round collar. A deeper shade of grey interacted with the base colour to form a unique, all-over 3D geometric graphic of the intials ‘A,F, and C’, taking inspiration from the lettering fans pass on their way to Emirates Stadium.
