Australia Nike Home Shirt 2012
Here is the new Australia 2012 home shirt made by Nike. The Socceroos had already revealed their new away kit in February and now we can their complete home and away shirts for 2012.
The shirt will feature in Australia’s matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC fourth round with matches scheduled in June, September and October against Oman, Japan, Jordan and Iraq.
The new home shirt, manufactured by Nike, features a yellow shirt with a green vertical band on the left side of the shirt, interrupted for the Australian Football Federation badge. The Nike ‘swoosh’ logo is on the top right part of the chest, in green, whilst a green ‘captain’s’ band is on the right sleeve.

I like that. Would be better if the green stripe wasn’t broken for the badge though.
Was hoping it would be a different template to the Away jersey. But Nike still have better colours for the Socceroos than Adidas ever did.
Not too sure about this – colours YES, but style I'm not totally sold on. Perhaps if someone bought it for me and I could see it in person and try it on – and yes, Tuesday would be a great day to receive it! 😉
can see this being a decent celtic away
Do not like it at all…sorry
2006 template – Croatia away kit
they’ve just changed the colors for the home & away!!! seriously for a national team like AUS that’s truly lame!! but nevertheless the away one was neat!!
It would be nicer if the band continued under the badge, and the badge was the same colour as the shirt.
Complete and utter fail after the last batch of kits.
Would look so much better if the splodge on the sleeve was moved to behind the badge. As it is… not bad, but nothing special.
Love it! think i prefer the away shirt though
why are nike kits so simple and plain, perhaps in the stripe incorporate some intricate details for example aboriginal patters build on the country they represent and really make a statement shirt in a stylish way (adidas have done this in the past with japan shirts) I would love the opportunity to work for NIKE !
Me personally think that the previous jersey was the bestest. Me liked the tiny bit of white in the old shirt, and I’m not being racialist
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
