Barcelona 2017-18 Nike Away Kit
On the back of their new home kit, Spanish giants FC Barcelona have officially launched their new away kit for the 2017-18 season.
Similar to last season’s third shirt, Nike have given Barcelona a very familiar turquoise colour scheme for next season’s away kit. Using the Aeroswift template, the shirt is simple but modern boasting a vivid blue display from shoulder to the socks while additional red and blue trim is applied to the flanks and collar of the shirt in the form of stripes.
Inspired by the club’s history again we see the Senyera flag displayed on the collar while a reminder of club pride sees the word “Forca” presented on the right sleeve and “Barca” on the left sleeve. Quite uniquely the flanks of the shirt features altering dark red and blue stripes inspired by the club’s home colours.
Vivid blue shorts and socks with dark red and blue trim complete the display which is mostly simple in design, a much easier away display to look than last season’s deep purple kit. Again Nike athletes of Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta and Neymar were the headline players to reveal the shirt along with adidas players of Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.
The club’s new primary shirt sponsor Rakuten have their sponsor logo in black on the front which merges with the shirt colours well.
