The Premier League ‘Blues’ have officially and successfully reached an agreement with Nike to become new kit manufacturers.
Chelsea FC’s bold blue home shirt poses as one of the most recognisable in English football and the club are now looking to reinforce their new era under Antonio Conte by also updating their kit supplier deal through ending relationships with adidas and moving to rivals Nike.
The new deal will see Chelsea’s shirt range flaunt Nike Swoosh branding from 2017/18 and Trevor Edwards, President of the Nike Brand, said: “Chelsea is a world-class club with a rich tradition and passionate fans across the globe. The partnership with Chelsea reinforces our leadership position in football. We are excited to help grow the club’s global reach, serving players and supporters with Nike innovation and design.”
