Official: England 2014 World Cup Nike Away Kit

Having launched their new home kit for the 2014 World Cup, England have gone ahead and unveiled their new away kit which will be used at the 2014 World Cup.

Supplied by Nike, the new away kit for the Three Lions features classical a two-tone red pinstripe design much like what is seen on the home kit for the tournament in Brazil. Unlike last year’s away kit for England the new away shirt features a standard rounded collar allowing the pinstripes to be continued onto the bottom of the collar.

The crest has been reverted back to the standard logo after England used the 150th centenary crest last year. The crest features one star above representing England’s triumphant 1966 tournament where they beat West Germany in the final.

The red home shirt will be complemented with white shorts and red socks where the the white shorts will boast red trim.

It is likely that this away kit will be worn against Uruguay on Thursday the 19th of June.

  2. Looks OK. However , it won’t be a classic, as Nike have stated this is for the World Cup, so no doubt another kit in August.

Not even sure why England have an away shirt for the World Cup. Italy & Uruguay wear blue and Costa Rica Red. Thus England can wear white for all three of their games at the World Cup.

Good point, but Uruguay’s blue is quite pale. England might wear red for that match.

  4. better than the home but that’s not hard! What’s the betting if it is worn v Uruquay that the shorts will change to red.

  5. Umbro made some horrific away kits, this is lovely. If these were both Umbro you haters would be nursing semis. You could be presented with exactly what you want and still moan.
