FC Lorient sign new kit deal with adidas
French Ligue 1 club FC Lorient have offically signed a new kit deal with German kit supplier adidas.
Commencing at the start of the 2014-15 season, FC Lorient’s new three-year adidas deal overtakes Macron’s current kit deal with the club. The likes of French clubs Marseille and Lyon currently have kit deals with the German brand. The club have finished in eight place in their last two seasons in the top tier of French football.
The side had their number nine striker Vincent Aboubakar play for Cameroon at the 2014 World Cup.
Generic teamwear coming your way
At least the colour combination is nice
Craig – Do you think every team in every league should have their own unique design that no one else uses?
I know where you are coming from and obviously I’m aware of the reasons why a set number of designs are used. However, I do find it monotonous how one or two templates are overused each season. I know not every team will get bespoke kits, they could at least provide a variety of their designs for them.
