FC Schalke 04 2014-15 adidas Home Shirt
Having had their current home kit for two seasons Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 have officially unveiled their new home shirt for the 2014-15 season.
The new home shirt was unveiled by the fans of the club where they stood in a photograph behind current Schalke 04 player Roman Neustadter. The shirt is much like the Spain World Cup home shirt but in blue as it features subtle pinstripes running down the front of the shirt and the iconic horizontal stripe on the upper back of the shirt. The shirt uses white trim on the branding, adidas stripes and name and numbers.
The shirt features the text “Wir leben dich” which simply means “We live up” on the back of the collar. FC Schalke 04 will be debuting this new kit in the Bundesliga match against Nuremburg where they also revealed the club’s new kit numbers.
It is likely the home shorts will be white and the socks will feature the same blue colour along with white trim. FC Schalke 04 will be reusing their away and third kits for next season also.
The German club are growing in stature as the club feature several big names including Julian Draxler, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Benedikt Howedes, Jefferson Farfan and Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
Shitty shirt.
I know Google Translate says “we live up”, but it’s “we live you”.
To comment on the shirt, i like it. Would love a white and black one for Rosenborg, with the stripes a tiny bit less visible.
Yeah . Pure quality . You can rely on adidas to produce
“Honey, have you seen my pyjamas top?” “-Oh, I sold it to some nice germans. I thought you didn’t use it anymore.”
Nice kit …Very classy
We Live Up, since when does it mean that. “Wir Leben Dich” means We Live You, a fact that to the Schalke fans the club IS everything!
