Last week we brought you a leaked image of what could be France’s potential World Cup shirt and today, French National Team Coach Raymond Domenech unveiled the new shirt at a press conference. Domenech submitted the list of players which he will have available for the World Cup play-off matches against the Republic of Ireland on November 14 and November 18.

This new home shirt sees the traditional red and white stripes which usually dominate the French shirt. The adidas logo is featured on the top center while the French national team emblem is placed just over the heart.

This is probably the last France home shirt manufactured by adidas since Nike will manufacture the team’s shirts as from 2011.

  1. that is a proper french kit but sadly wont be wearing it in the world cup when the irish put them out this week

  2. Jambo, i would laugh if they put the number in the top left hand side now!! I love sarcasm, but come on, it could be put in 2 different places. Let’s wait and see…I personally don’t like this kit too much!

  3. I love the jersey but COME ON IRELAND !!!!!! Why have they called they’re world cup kit when they mightn’t even be there??

  4. This is quite possibly one the poorest shirts I have seen
addidas and Nike have become really lazy with there templates and now only use colour to spice up there kits eg.Newcastle away and barcalona away
so for the first time ever ………………….. Well done umbro!!

  5. The Adidas train of good WC kits comes to a screaching halt with this one. Hopefully Eire will do us a favor on Sat.
