Glentoran 2013/14 Kukri Home, Away and Goalkeeper Kits
Glentoran is a Northern Irish football club based in east Belfast. The traditional colours of the club are black, red and green, and these appear also on the club crest. The team finished 4th in the NIFL Premiership, the top division in the country. The club’s home stadium is called The Oval and has a capacity of 15,000. Glentoran won the top division in Northern Ireland a total of 23 times in their history which dates back to 1882. The latest triumph came in the 2008/09 season.
Fans were asked to vote to decide the new kits for the 2013/14 season. The kit manufacturer is Kukri and the sponsor is BetMcLean.com. The above kits were the chosen Option 4. The home shirt has a green base colour with a black flapped collar and black sleeve hems. The sleeves of the home shirt are red. There is a small red and green detail on the central part of the collar. The away shirt features a black base colour and a black flapped collar. There are green and red details on the sides of the body and on the central part of the collar, and red stripe details on the sleeve hems. A prominently yellow goalkeeper shirt was also unveiled.
