Kitman blunders: Egyptian goalkeeper forced to wear Liverpool Shirt
Egyptian goalkeeper Mahdi Soliman was forced to wear a Liverpool goalkeeper kit in an Egyptian Premier League game against Al Ahly. Local reports in Egypt claimed that Ghazl El-Mahalla’s kitman forgot to bring a goalkeeper’s kit to the match and had to source a suitable replacement.
In order to abide with the club’s sponsorship agreement, McDonalds’s logo was stuck on the front of the shirt covering the Standard Chartered logo, however the kitman didn’t seem to bother much about the Warrior logo and Liverpool crest which were still visible.
