Leaked: Spain 2014 World Cup adidas Home Kit
Current World Cup champions Spain have had their home shirt for the 2014 FIFA World Cup leaked online.
Spain are currently on the brink of qualifying for next year’s World Cup as they are first in Group I with 14 points ahead of France also with 14 points. Spain will seal a spot in next year’s Cup with a win against Belarus this Friday (11th October) and if France do not beat Finland.
The leaked Spain shirt looks like it is being worn by Xabi Alonso and it boasts a traditional red base with gold detailing on the crest, shoulders and numbers. The crest also has gold fill boasting one star above to symbolise their 2010 FIFA World Cup triumph.
An all red kit for Spain? Why?
This isn’t Spain. This is Liverpool!
And why is the Argentine guy serving Xabi Alonso?
Wish they would wipe the camera lens.. these pics are crap
@leamus
It’s been the pattern over the last few tournaments.
Don’t know whose idea it was, but they encourage teams to play in as few colours as possible.
Hence the trend for England wearing all-white every other year – the year of a tournament.
The Netherlands, Italy, Russia, France all do it.
Brazil have dropped the classic white socks for the tournaments, wearing yellow shirts with blue shorts and socks, they get special dispensation for being Brazil.
The sad day will surely come when they play in all yellow.
FIFA is the one pushing this.
