The shirt itself has a two tone green base, with white touches on the chest, sleeves and adidas three stripes add to the design. The graphic around the FMF’s crest (in the middle of the shirt) is designed to express the strength, passion and pride of Mexico. 1. A missed opportunity.
OK, but would be better if:-
1> The shades of green matched
2> The sleeve and chest bands were the same thickness
3> The shorts matched the shirt, ie green and red adidas lines, with a zig zag in them.

  2. Despite being a bit bizarre, I really liked it. It recalls the heritage of lucha libre in the mexican culture, with those fancy masks that surely inspired this design on the front side. Very nice job, Adidas.

  3. I already bought it in a PRE SALE yesterday before the game, I wasn´t sure if the picture that was on the social media was true, until the game began I knew what I have bought, but I'm pleased, because its different from the last 3 mexican jerseys which were kind of the same template.

  4. LOL Mexico having a shirt for the World Cup they won’t be going to.

They usually have had great shirts, but this is atrocious.

  5. lovin the way adidas bring on the retro looks !! a trefoil logo would just put the icing on the cake!!

  6. Amazing how adidas can turn out a shirt like this compared to that awful Barcelona template by Nike from a couple of seasons ago.
Just wish the FA hadn’t sold their soul to go with Nike when you see outstanding shirts like this.

  7. if yer going to do a green footy kit cover it in brocholli this is ok tho why is the new spain kit in poland red ?

  8. @no. 4 you seriously think NZ are going to beat Mexico? Maybe Mexico have been shocking and don’t deserve to be in Brazil but will they lose to NZ I doubt it!

  9. @Mitchivic: A couple things about my first post:
    1. I’m an American, so it was trash talk first and foremost.
    2. I was drunk when I typed.

As far as them vs. NZ, I think they will get in, but with how bad they’ve been this year, and now on their 4th manager in the last 12 months, I wouldn’t be too surprised if they lost.

    C’MON YOU ALL WHITES!!!
