‘Together We Can Soar’ – BLK design sharp looking kit range for the Jets in their quest for Hyundai A-League glory within their 2015/16 season
Today, Newcastle Jets officially released their entire kit range which features a stunning gold third shirt at the Honeysuckle precinct whilst local artist Mitch Revs was part of the exhibition by painting four of the club’s players on canvasses.
The home shirt adorns the club’s trademark royal blue base whilst incorporating a subtle yet well-designed gradient hooped graphic in a slightly darker shade. The club’s accent colours of red and gold can be found on the shoulder panels which features a BLK logo on the right side, sleeve cuffs, and side panels. Solid blue shorts which incorporate red through side trim, and blue socks with a golden hoop at the mid-point sign off the Jet’s home strip in style.
An alternative away strip uses the same BLK template however reverses the colour-way to a crisp white base and uses blue and red for the trim applications as seen on the home strip. The away look is kept clean with complementing solid white shorts and white socks.
Due to a cry from the Jets crowd regarding the return of a golden shirt, a colour which saw the club’s most successful years, a third strip has been created which will prove a sure hit for those passionate fans. Again, the same BLK template has been utilised for the classy third strip look, however issues a regal gold base which features fine white hoops flowing down the shirts body. Finishing touches of blue and red are incorporated to the sleeve cuffs, and v-neck collar. Matching gold shorts and socks finish the third strip in grandeur.
