What has confirmed a shirt leak earlier in the year is the new Germany home kit for next year’s FIFA World Cup which are supplied by adidas.
The most noticeable feature on the new home design is the gradient V on the chest consisting of various shades of red, black and yellow. The shorts and socks have been switched to white from their traditional black and it will be first worn against Italy this weekend in an international friendly.
The Germany home shirt is primarily white with black detailing and red detailing on the collar, shoulders and sleeve hems. The adidas logo is featured on the right side of the chest the while the Germany crest is located on the left.
The re-edited Germany crest is featured on the new V-shape design on the front where on the upper back of the shirt it says: “Die National Mannschaft” meaning “The National Team”. The special embroidery is featured above a faint red, yellow, white and black horizontal sash.
With the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Manuel Neuer, Mario Gomez, Mesut Ozil and Marco Reus in the squad the side are definitely one of the major favourites to win next year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
