Having had their home shirt leaked online last week, Russian outfit Spartak Moscow have officially launched their new home and away kits for the 2014-15 season.
Supplied by Nike, the new home kit is inspired by the club’s new home ground the Otkritie Arena boasting a tonal diamond graphic on each shirt which mirrors the structure the new home stadium. The new home shirt features the club’s trademark red colour along with maroon chest band in the centre in which the Spartak crest lies. The sponsor is featured below the band and the Nike logo is above.
A standard crew-neck collar is added while the sleeve cuffs are standard red. The home kit is completed with red shorts and socks with white trim. The new away kit features the same kit template as the home strip but coloured white. The diamond theme is again used but coloured grey. The chest band is also coloured light grey while the sponsors and branding are red.
Several of Spartak Moscow’s players including Denis Glushakov, Dmitri Kombarov and Majeed Waris played at the 2014 World Cup for their respective nations.
