Official: VfL Wolfsburg 2015-16 Kappa Home Kit
Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg have officially launched their new home kit for the 2015-16 season.
With green the primary home colour in the 14-15 season, white will overtake as the primary colour for the Wolfsburg 15-16 home shirt. This time round a green chevron design is used on the chest while the base colour is white. Additional green trim is seen on the Y-neck collar design and sleeve piping while touches of navy blue is seen on the Chevron design and on the Volkswagen logo.
Two Kappa logos are positioned on the left and right shoulders while the club slogan “Fußball ist alles” meaning “Football is Everything” is placed on the neckline. The kit is completed with white shorts and socks with green trim.
From the ridiculous to the sublime.
A great comeback after last season’s Marmite effort.
Why the f*ck is it white?!
@ #2:
It’s white because in Germany, the balance between a club’s colours generally aren’t as strongly fixed as they are in England. A proper Wolfsburg home kit is green and white, but which colour dominates or what design they come in isn’t as important.
The closest thing we have to that in England is probably Bradford City; they’re always claret and amber, but sometimes claret dominates, sometimes amber sometimes it’s 50:50. Often they’re striped, often they’re not. That’s pretty rare here, but kind of variation is common in Germany.
Poor poor effort from kappa
