Pumas UNAM 2014-14 Nike Home & Away Kits

Signing a new kit deal with Nike earlier in the year, Mexican club Pumas have officially launched their new home and away kits for next season.

Inspired by the club’s first ever Championship season, the new home kit is similar to the shirt worn in the club’s successful 1976-77 season when the club won its first league championship. The new home shirt embodies the club’s most authentic identity featuring the club’s iconic blue and gold colours.

The new home shirt is gold and features blue applications while the enlarged Pumas crest is again featured. The shirt boasts an embossed logo on the left sleeve which pays tribute to the team’s strong connection with the university. The home kit is completed with gold shorts and socks with dark blue trim.

Club President Jorge Borja Navarrete said, “It’s a pleasure to wear a kit emblazoned with the same design used when we won our first championship. This season, as we celebrate 60 years of the club, the team is focused and ready to add one more title to our existing seven.”

The away kit uses the same kit template as the home kit but coloured dark blue and features gold applications. The away kit is completed with dark blue shorts and socks.
