Today’s retro feature is the Chelsea away shirt worn during the 1994/96 season. The shirt was manufactured by Umbro and featured a grey body with chequered white stripes on the upper part of the chest. The shirt also featured orange detail around the sides of the upper part of the chest.Club main sponsor Coors had its logo featured across the front center part of the shirt.

  1. Even as a Chelsea fan, this shirt never grew on me. I do miss the CFC badge though.

  2. Pretty bad, but not even their worst away kit, the following yellow with turquoise stripes was iffy, and the electric yellow for 6 years ago?

  3. Zolaza – The current badge is better, and the lion and the staff the best

Agree this is not the worst Chelsea shirt. The red and white diamonds was worse, and last seasons black and yellow robocop is the first one I’ve refused to buy since the red and white hooped hooped Umbro away shirt.

  4. Umbro did have a thing about grey in the mid 90’s!! I loved umbro kits in the 90’s, some beautiful, some beautifully horrific but they seemed to work. Goalkeepers kits were especially mad.
