Slovakia 2012/13 Home and Away Puma Kits

The national football team of Slovakia, also popularly known as Repre, forms part of the UEFA confederation and is controlled by the national association, namely the Slovenský Futbalový Zväz. Presently, the team ranks 38th in the FIFA rankings and is captained by Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik. The country’s single appearance in the World Cup was in 2010 when it managed to reach the Round of 16, and in the process beat Italy 3-2 in the group stage to qualify and put World Cup 2006 winners Italy in the 4th place in Group F. Slovakia did not qualify for Euro 2012.

The shirt supplier of Slovakia is Puma, with which the country’s football association has an agreement to supply kits until 2016. These are the home and away shirts of Slovakia for the period 2012/13. The home shirt has a white base colour with two blue stripes on the right side of the chest, blue sleeve hems, and a blue crew neck collar. The Puma logo is placed at the centre of the chest and on both sleeves in blue. The away shirt is basically plain blue with white Puma logos on the right side of the chest and on the sleeves.

  1. Blue is horrible, white is quite good. I expected very much better kits by Puma. I hope that from 2013 it will be much better.

  2. Everyone’s such a cynical a–wipe on this site. From a design perspective, tell me what is wrong with this kit.

  3. not sure about the guy in the middle!!! when did the silver surfer declare he was Slovakian??

  4. puma looks more equivalent for slovakia. adidas has always giving them poor schematic designs like the one from wc 2010.

  5. LOL, pretty sad they launched it in the middle of an abandoned shopping mall with no people around.

  6. Nice clean design, my only problem (and it has been lasting for a really long time now) is that the white jerseys are so boring – there is nothing unique in them. I think the white jerseys should be a combination of white shirt, blue trousers and red socks like back in 90′s. It would be much more beautiful and unique I belive. Does anyone know who decides about color combinations? 🙂
