Slovenia Nike Home Shirt 2012/13

Here is the new Slovenia home shirt for 2012/13 made by Nike. Slovenia had already launched their new away shirt which you can see here.

Following a good showing in the 2010 World Cup group stage, Slovenia failed to qualify for the Euro 2012 finishing fourth place in the qualifying group with 14 points, just two points short of runners-up Estonia.

The new Slovenian home shirt is similar to the new away shirt in design, being mainly white with a green and blue zig-zag design on the front. It has a simple white round collar, with the Nike logo in blue on the top right part of the chest and the Slovenian FA badge on the opposite side.

  1. Why would we have red and blue on the home kit when they are not the national team colours? Possible the goalkeeper shirts yes but the only blue we have is the away kit.

  2. I like this, I like this a lot, maybe toonarmy was thinking they was going to use their flag colours, possibly a reason why they would use red and blue.

  3. @jarkko, i thought green represented LJ too much and that didnt please those who werent from there…

  4. It’s nice. Does remind me of Charlie Brown still. What is the significance of the design. Mountains?

  5. Whatever the meaning of the pattern is,it’s a great looking shirt that’s different without being obscure.

  6. It’s nice but they’ve just taken the fill out of the pattern and the colour out of the collar of the last shirt. Poor imagination.
