Leroy Fer is a Dutch footballer who current plays for English club Queens Park Rangers. Nicknamed The Bouncer for his physical strength a player who has been compared to Patrick Vieira. He was born in Zoetermeer, Netherlands where he played for Feyenoord in his youth career. His breakthrough to the first team was in 2007.
He made his official debut for Feyenoord at the age of 17 where he replaced now Turkish star Nuri Sahin in a home 6-0 thrashing over Heracles Almelo. He played four seasons for the Dutch club playing over 100 matches scoring 13 goals. In 2011 he signed for Dutch club FC Twente where he continued his prolific form as he scored over 10 goals in just 29 matches, which is great for a central midfielder.
On the 13th of July 2013 Fer signed a four year deal with English club Norwich City making his debut against Hull City and he netted his first goal for the club in the League Cup against Bury on the 27th of August 2013. In the summer of 2014 Fer joined Queens Park Rangers after his club Norwich City were relegated. Fer scored a goal at the 2014 World Cup for Netherlands against Chile in the group stages.
