Greenland are a football nation that are not an official member of FIFA. Like Faroe Islands Denmark are within the Kingdom of Denmark. Greenland play most their matches against Faroe Islands and Iceland. They are official members of the International Island games Association.

Greenland's official home colours are red and white which reflects their flag. They have white shirts, red shorts and white socks. Their shirts are sponsored by Umbro and Coca-Cola.

The sides first ever international was against Faroe Islands in a 6-0 loss. Their biggest win was against Sark in a 16-0 win. They competed in the FIFA Wild Cup in 2006 but were eliminated in the first round.

On September 13 2010 FIFA president Sepp Blatter arrived in Qaqortoq, Greenland and announced FIFA's approval of the new field, which is seen as a major step towards the country being granted FIFA membership.
