Inter Milan or Internazionale are one of the best Italian football clubs in the Serie A in terms of silverware with multiple Serie A and Coppa Italia titles. The club’s kits are manufactured by Nike. Inter’s home shirts are usually composed of black and blue stripes, a direct opposition to the red and black of their neighbouring rivals AC Milan.

Inter Milan 23/24 Home Kit

In 2023/24, Inter Milan went back to a classic, adding yellow logos to the bespoke black and blue stripes on their Nike-produced home shirt. It’s a callback to those mid-2000s Inter kits that also had yellow (especially those with the iconic Pirelli wordmark). Serving as a design element is the blurring visuals along the striping lines and the asymmetric colouring on the sleeves. The release of the shirt came on the heels of Nike and Inter’s announcement of extending their partnership for eight years.

2022/23 Inter Milan Home Shirt

Inter Milan Home 2022/23 KitInter Milan’s 2022/23 home shirt emphasized the club’s traditional colours using broader stripes, resulting in the bespoke blue and black alternating striping pattern. The pattern spilled over to the raglan sleeves, leaving the front and back panels boxed by the sleeve and arching body seams in black and blue, respectively. The short black sleeve cuffs had a blue piping finish, while the round neckline had a slightly raised profile for a turtle neck appearance. The primary jersey was Inter’s first with principal sponsor Digitalbits.

2021/22 Inter Milan Home Shirt

Inter Milan Home 2021/22 KitLong known as I Nerazzurri because of their black and blue striped shirt, Inter breaks tradition and wears a mainly blue home shirt with a never-before-seen snakeskin pattern as a reference to their other nickname, Il Biscione (The Big Grass Snake). The graphic design spreads through the entirety of the shirt, which is predominantly navy. Enhancing the Biscione look are the equidistant tonal visuals running the length of the jersey, replicating the abstract and scaled look of Milan’s historical symbol.

Black still features on the sleeve cuffs and the 2-piece v collar construction. The 2021/22 Nike home shirt is the first home outfit to present the new simplified logo, which focuses on the I and M. Touches of gold come in the form of the stakeholders’ logos and brandings.

2020/21 Inter Milan Home Shirt

Inter Milan Home 2020/21 KitInter Milan’s 2020-2021 home kit is now fully out in the market and it has remained traditional by using the black and blue colour combination in a striped pattern. However, this new home kit sets out its own identity by not going with the conventional vertical, horizontal, or diagonal stripe patterns. Instead, the home kit features a bold zig-zagged formation for the stripes that cover every inch of space of the shirt.

Minus the zig-zag, the home kit looks familiar with the 2010-2011 kit, making the latest home shirt a tribute of some sort given the success of the 2010-11 squad. The central Pirelli branding and the Nike Swoosh on the right chest are white, and the Inter Milan crest on the left chest is displayed with its original colours. The kit has a round collar and has the same shade of black used for the entire shirt.

Football Club Internazionale Milano (commonly known as Inter Milan) was founded on 9 March 1908 following a split from the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. A group of Italians and Swiss were unhappy about the domination of Italians in the AC Milan team, and broke away from them, leading to the creation of Internazionale. From the beginning, the club was open to foreign players and thus lived up to her founding name. Internazionale have from inception, worn blue and black shirts. This was seen as a departure from the Milan colours of red and black, however the vertical stripes of the club it split from was kept. Nicknamed the ‘Nerazzurri’, the blue is considered to represent the sky and the black signifying the night.
