Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite was born on the 22nd April 1982 in Brasilia, Brazil, he is better known as Kaka and he is a Brazilian footballer playing in the midfield for MLS franchise Orlando City and also for the Brazil national team. When eighteen Kaka fractured his spine in a swimming pool accident, fortunately he was not paralysed and made a full recovery, something he attributes to God and you will see him point to the sky as a gesture of thanks as a goal celebration.
Kaka started his professional journey in the Sao Paulo FC's youth squad. Making his senior debut for the club in 2001. He played 58 games and scored 23 goals between 2001 and 2003. AC Milan picked him up for a bargain price in 2003, where he won Serie A (03/04) and the UEFA Champions League with the club in 2007 (over Liverpool) when he also personally was named European Footballer of the Year and collected the Ballon d'Or.
In June 2009 Kaka left AC Milan for Real Madrid, where he would score eight goals in 25 appearances in his first season at the Bernabeu, Kaka's transfer fee was 68.5 million Euros. Appearing infrequently for the Spanish giants, Kaka would return to his previous club Milan for the 2013/14 season where he would make 37 appearances before becoming the latest football star to land in the MLS through signing for the new Orlando City franchise.
