Toni Kroos was born on the 4th of January 1990 in Greifswald, Germany. Kroos played for Greifswalder SV and Hansa Rostock at youth levels. He moved to Bayern Munich in 2006. He was named in the senior side for the 2007-08 season aged 17 years old. He made his debut for the club on the 26th of September 2007 and he assisted two goals in a 5-0 win over Energie Cottbus.
In January 2009 he was loaned out to Bayer Leverkusen where he played 43 matches scoring 10 goals. He returned to Bayern Munich and became a first team regular at the club. Kroos signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 after impressive performances at the World Cup.
Kroos played for Germany U-17, U-19, U-21 and he made his senior debut in 2010 against Argentina on the 3rd of March. He played in the UEFA EURO 2012 Championship in Ukraine and Poland. Kroos was one of the stars for Germany at the 2014 World Cup helping his side to win their fourth World Cup title beating Argentina 1-0 in the final.
