Alexandre Lacazette is a French forward who plays for the historic club of Lyon in Ligue 1 and the France national team. Possessing an array of arsenal and top level attributes of pace, power, technique, dribbling, and finishing, Lacazette poses as one of the most feared and highly-sought after forward players in world football.
Born in Lyon, France, it wasn't long before the raw talents of Lacazette were snapped up by renowned youth academy Lyon in 2003. Progressing through the youth ranks under the careful nurturing and high quality coaching of Lyon's staff, Lacazette was showing serious signs of becoming a future star of the club. Several years of development within the academy saw Lacazette handed his first team debut in a League 1 match against Auxerre seeing the team win 1-0. Lacazette was given occasional vital first team experience the following season before acting as Lyon's main attacking threat from the 2011/12 season onwards. To date, Lacazette is fast approaching his landmark 200th appearance for Lyon of which has seen the player record first-rate goal scoring and assist statistics.
As each season sees Lacazette improve as a player and fine-tune his skills, various European giants of football are putting pressure on his beloved Lyon of a big money move away from France most notably from Arsene Wenger's Arsenal which seems a perfect transfer for the free flowing forward.
Making his debut in June 2013, Lacazette featured in France' international friendly against Uruguay and has since accumulated over 10 appearances for his country, whilst posing as one of the brightest stars for future European and world tournaments.
