Robert Lewandowski is a Polish footballer who plays for Bayern Munich and the Poland national team. Born in Warsaw, Poland, Lewandowski began his club career at Delta Warsaw in 2005 then Legia Warsaw later in 2005. In 2006 Lewandowski moved Znicz Pruszkow then Lech Poznan in 2008 where he began to make a name for himself.
In 2010 Lewandowski signed for German club Borussia Dortmund where he signed a four year contract reported to be around 4.5million euros. Lewandowski netted his first goal for the club against Schalke 04 in a 3-0 win in September 2010. Lewandowski has helped the Bundesliga side to win two Bundesliga titles and one DFB-Pokal title making him one of the most talked about forwards in the world today. Lewandowski signed for Dortmund's rivals Bayern Munich in January 2014 where he joined the club at the beginning of the 2014-15 season.
Lewandowski famously netted four goals against Real Madrid in the 2012/13 Champions League semi-final helping the side to reach the final against German giants Bayern Munich. Lewandowski made his Poland debut in 2008 and he has gone on to become one of the clubs best goal scorers in Polish football history.
