Liverpool 24/25 Away Kit
Simplicity was the operative word for Liverpool’s 2024/25 Nike away shirt. That was because the shirt was mostly black without any graphics. The only visual design was the light teal accents coming from the shoulder trims and sleeve cuffs. This followed recent seasons of giving green a role for the club’s alternate shirt. Liverpool also used the predominantly dark shirt to put a white contrast for the logos.
2023/24 Liverpool Away Shirt
Liverpool’s 2023/24 Nike away was white with green graphics. It evoked specific memories of the 1995/96 away shirt, which had the green and white quarter design. New Balance already did a rendition of the said kit in 2017/18, but Nike added another layer of modernity by abstractly layering different shades of green, resulting in a pixelated, digital effect. Black accents were seen from the sleeve cuffs and round collar.
2022/23 Liverpool Away Shirt
The 2022/23 away was Liverpool’s first white-based shirt from Nike since joining them in 2020/21. A light-shaded abstract graphic of iridescent flowing lines and curves provided an underwater illusion. Along with the logos, the sleeve cuffs and round collar gave the jersey a contrasting black accent.
2021/22 Liverpool Away Shirt
Liverpool sported a light beige (called off-white stone) Nike away jersey for the 2021/22 season, taking inspiration from their 1996/97 away kit. The shirt displayed a clean look and had a minor colour accent from the dark teal sponsor logos and brandings, sleeve cuffs and polo collar, the latter having a beige detailing and red piping. The Swoosh and Liverbird shone with their bright red application.
2020/21 Liverpool Away Shirt
Liverpool became part of the Nike brand in the 2020/21 season. The shirt was predominantly teal with a designation of ‘hyper turquoise’ and contained unique abstract graphics. The colour choice and the print were inspired by the Liverbird Statue and the Shanky Gates of the Royal Liver Building, respectively. Liverpool’s 2020/21 away kit had black cuffs and crew-neck collar. Other black applications on the shirt were the single stripe on each side of the body panel, and the logos (the Standard Chartered branding and logo had a faint teal outline to further highlight the combination mark).

In recent seasons black and white have been the dominant away colours. in the early to mid 2000s the club reverted back to yellow and green colourways.
