Liverpool Third Kits
Third kits were worn in the late 70s with mainly yellow and white shirts. A series of green and grey shirts came after this in the early 90s. Also white shirts were common with the 2004-05 and 2009-10 shirts featuring similarities to the first away kits in 1892.

2021/22 Liverpool Third Shirt
Liverpool brings back the fan-favourite yellow base to its Nike third for the 2021/22 season. Aside from the primary colour, the shirt features jacquard pinstripes to show the influence of the club's away shirts in the 80s. Rounding off the look is the checkered pattern applied on the cuffs and the Nike template v-collar.
2020/21 Liverpool Third Shirt
Nike and Liverpool begin their partnership in style with the football club's third kit for the 2020-2021 season. The dark grey shirt is filled out with a black checkered pattern, both of which serves as a background for the pinkish-red Nike Swoosh on the right chest, the Liverbird on the left, and the 'Standard Charter' branding and logo on the centre of the front body.
The sides have a pink vertical stripe that starts from the underarm and extends up to the parallel of the abdomen section. The v collar has a pink rear and a white front split, with the pink rear heightened more than the front white. From the underarm, a diagonal trim splits the sleeve, with the actual sleeve having a lighter gray shade. The backside is clear and only has a small pink Shankly Gates logo below the collar.
The dark third kit draws much inspiration from the black jerseys of the Liverpool squads from the 2000s. Black shorts are used and the socks feature the same dark grey-black checkered appearance of the shirt, capped at the top with the similar pinkish-red shade.
