Fernando Llorente Torres nicknamed The Lion King is a Spanish footballer who plays for Sevilla as a striker. Llorente began his youth career at Baskonia and he played for Athletic Bilbao's B side before making his debut for the senior side in 2005 in a 1-1 home draw. He then scored a hat-trick the next game in a 6-0 thrashing against UD Lanzarote. He continued his prolific form into the next several seasons becoming one of the deadliest finishers in world football. He played nine seasons for the club with over 300 appearances and 115 goals to his name.
In 2013 Llorente signed on a Bosman transfer for Italian giants Juventus, however after failing to make a serious impact within the team La Liga club Sevilla signed the player on a free ready for the 2015/16 season.
Llorente has also featured several times in the lucrative Spanish squad but has struggled for a starting spot as the side have great depth amongst the ranks. He has played for the U-17, U-20 and U-21 Spanish sides. Llorente is a player with great strength and positioning, a world class striker with world class finishing.
